  • Mood:

my Mom was standing over me

my Mom was standing over me
with the sun of this afternoon
sneaking up on my feet in the
shade where i sat in a lawnchair;
she was participating in the family
horseshoe tournament & between
throws, she walked over to me &
noticed the gray & white strands -
"you should let me dye your hair; a
daughter shouldn't have grayer hair
than her mother..." and she kissed
the top of my head - something I do
not remember her ever doing before.
