waiting on rooftops
survivors are waiting on rooftops
bodies in the water oh there are
bodies in the water everywhere
washed out buildings corpse and
carcass caught up with cars and
contents the children are on the
roof do you know that drowning
pulls you face down you float you
hope your family is on the rooftop
not among the bodies that go by
we could only save the children
a voice is sunk with hope in the
waves all of the waves goodbye.
