by a string - a simple thing

He seems to let go of me as though I were a balloon - to
be held insignificant by a string - a simple thing. I am left
here, there in mid-air - look at me, I am debris! While he,
who does not bother to look up from his handiwork, takes
no notice as I blend into the backdrop of his canvas sky.
