poem: To You, My Twin, My Jenny Gwen

To You, My Twin, My Jenny Gwen

To you, I raise my glass of
cherry flavored drink crystals
To you, my twin, my Jenny Gwen.
How sad it is that my father
reminded me of this anniversary
of the burial of my better half
I must remember
Please, don't remind me
how she gave her life for mine
so I could be like this
To you, my twin, my Jenny Gwen
I raise my glass again
in gratitude
in solitude
for allowing
a spoiled brat
spoiled for living
to drink juice
and disappoint
while your gravestone
grows mold like old trees.
