Journal #25
I started this little journal Saturday, October 31st, 2009. For such a small journal with little pages, I should have finished it by now had I actually been writing in it. I'm hoping that by starting again on July 1st, I'll get back into the swing of it.
The positive thing is that I had been updating my LJ more often. I would like to be able to do both though, ya know? I find that I express myself very differently in my paper journal than I do for my online one so there's room for both in my life.
pages 43 & 44.

Oh, and these entries for July 1st are not the usual type that I do in my paper journals. Most of the time it's wall to wall handwritten scrawl but I wanted to be sure that I got started on this project so I glued in folded receipts, movie stubs & such to empty the clutter of the back pocket in this journal AND to at least get something done on the first day. I didn't want to put much pressure on myself to WRITE SOMETHING IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW or I likely wouldn't have written anything at all.
pages 45 & 46.

pages 47 & an empty page.

paperexpression (here)
I was thinking that I both wanted & needed to make something to post here that wasn't a handwritten entry --- and I said out loud, in frustration, "how do i make art if i'm not an artist?" --- and this is what I put together.
Is it art?
Am I an artist?
I doubt it.
But I made this.
