alice lost in labyrinth

(we spoke about everything & nothing)

"Remember you the trails and forest we walked, with hands Joined, and our heads leaning against each other, as if We were hiding ourselves within ourselves?"
- Kahlil Gibran

(1/31/2006 3:41:45 AM): i'm fearless - i sometimes laugh in the daytime.

(2/1/2006 4:13:48 PM): it does seem rather funny though. i mean, to make a memoir. "i'm important" when really, in the scheme of things, not.
... i have been thinking about it for some time though. What I want to figure out is what exactly do I want to say? If I collect various writings / journal entries - what do I want the overall message to be? Do I have something worth saying? That's where I'm at right now.

(2/1/2006 4:29:14 PM): & you know, when I moved last October, I rid myself of many things / gave plenty away - I'm still doing that. Changing it so that the things don't own me. We're in a culture where people are told that they are defined by what they own & it is what makes them. It's good to go against that.

(2/2/2006 12:19:54 AM): ego is in everything we do - actions are usually motivated by ego and actions spur on an ego reaction.

(2/2/2006 12:24:04 AM): When it seems conflicting or opposing natures are just that, isn't it about understanding that without it, neither would really exist?
meaning, if there is no negativity, how can there really be positivity?
if you don't have that ability to think or feel oppositionally, how can you know yourself or understand?

(2/2/2006 10:29:04 PM): i love that about people - we all have layers / depths / different ways of being.

(2/7/2006 1:48:59 AM): i told my apartment that i like you when i went to grab my water.
you know, the energy vibrating off everything from my heart going & my thoughts having me running around trees - how could i not say it aloud?

(2/7/2006 2:13:52 AM): (re: the past) it's with us anyways. You can't deny where you came from. in understanding where you've been / what you've gone through & better yet, learning from it, you can better know your path.
it has made us what we are but does not decide what we will be - our choices & present decisions do.
