poem: my mouth is a train

my mouth is a train

after talking for awhile:

i start to slacken a bit so,
like the via train sliding in
to the bay of Union Station

brakes slow to stop – to stop
me weary until i have pulled
myself somewhat together &

arrived at the
end of my line.
